Vickers-Carden-Lloyd Utility Tractor, (Tractor 71, D 9947)
Caption: "Vickers-Carden-Lloyd Utility Tractor, (Tractor 71, D 9947) with an Austrian 47 mm Böhler anti-tank gun. Cimahi. Dutch East Indies (1941)"
The KNIL ordered 50 of these small utility tractors from the Familleureux factory in Belgium in October 1939. They were to be used for the training of tank crews and to tow its new Böhler 47mm AT gun. The first 20 reached Java in April 1940. An additional 30 vehicles had been ordered in December 1939 and scheduled for delivery in May 1940. However, the Germans captured this batch and those on Java were destroyed or captured during the Japanese invasion. Source: NIMH"

Another set of photos of the same Vickers Utility Tractor "D-9947" with the Austrian 47-mm Böhler anti-tank gun. The wheels were dismounted when the gun was set up in firing position.
