Aus. Carrier Straps?
I just bought a batch of these straps. The part number isn't in my copy of a parts list. Does anyone know what they are for? Marked --SPARE PART part no 12109 carrier MG directorate of armoured fighting vehicles production Melborne.

strap'n'buckle
Hi Darren, I don't know the numbers at all, but they look like the strap that hold the vickers water container on the gunners side. You know that bracket that clamps the buckle near the top.

Darren - this is the short strap that carries the buckle for the longer retaining strap that holds both the Vickers MMG water condenser can and the Vickers ammunition boxes. See image.
