Steel is steel. Glass is glass.
Are you doing this for the original holes to line up with your recipient vehicle, or is there something on the dash that you need?

Of course.....
....and get the steering wheel while at it..... and every other bit you can bargain for.... heck the whole dash assembly....with switches.
Everything is restorable just a matter of $$$ and skills. You will need s new glass cut and a decal for all the numbers and guage. In Canada..... Ebay value.... as is.... hoping the speedo needle is still there maybe 15 to 25 dollars.... then shipping approx. $14 across USA. Fully rebuilt around $450 US + s&h At worst it will donate good parts. Bob PS.... why don't you bring a trailer and take the whole thing home... or you will regret it.

Thanks Gents, I apogise if I havnt responded personally working of my phone.
There are certainly parts I could do with, others without, logistically hauling it home as a donor would be easier. Here are some more pics. Cheers Tim |

Details
Tim, don't forget to get details of chassis number, and any data on the dash plate... even better if the ARN is still on the front shell.
And a border raid, eh...?

Tim,
Looking at a Chev dash I got from Bob a few years back at a very reasonable restoration cost, better than new! Grab it and send it to South Australia as soon as the project timetable and funds allow, you will not be sorry. Lang |

Instrument Panel Restorations
Hi all - thank you Lang and Scott for the endorsements. I have done numerous panels but hardly get any feedback.
