Well done, Ron! Was it the one you were looking at, or another? (It may save me a trip later).

Thank you guys, It will take a couple of weeks to get it bought in from out west ,It is bone dry out there its been in a drought for the past five years, it is on a 90.000 acre property, 160 kls from the main road and approx 40 kls from the homestead, it has sat there for 46years, No tony it is not the same one I will be looking at that one in a few weeks time. Its a big country out there,
For my Aussie mates I need an engine cover and a rear tool plate , and a couple of front mudguards,

Default my latest find

Hi Guys,
Thought that I would try to send a pic of the carrier that I have just bought, its an L P 2 Universial one, It was once used as a tree pusher, to push down small trees in drought times for stock to eat the leaves, its a very harsh country where this one is, Notice the small cut out piece of steel at the left hand rear part

Ron

Well, look at that! It has not 1, not 2 but 3 Davies and Baird 5 spoke wheels!
It will be interesting to see the hull number and maker of this Carrier.

Default Sunshine State Carriers

Good basis to start with Ron, mine was not that complete when I started. I hope you enjoy the next 1000 hours out in the shed...tee hee. If you need any templates, assistance etc let me know as I'm less than an hour up the road . If you wish I have perfect front guards currently removed that would be easy to copy & a rear plate also off easily copied. Let me know if I can assist.

Rob

Default bren carrier

Hi Rob.
Many thanks for your offer of help. I will certainly be glad of any assistance , the machine should be in here in a couple of weeks time, depending on the weather out there, When it gets here I will give you a call and you can slip down here if you like, Ron

If you want to have a look at that LP1, be quick! I hear it's been sold and is coming down to Sydney this weekend.
