Aussie children at risk!
It would seem that the biggest threat to Aussie Children is the dreaded CMP truck, followed closely by a desire to play cricket..
A wonder that any of the 50"s kids survived.... (fun starts about minute 3...) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G7Jwote_ozU

It is a wonder that any of us survived childhood
Hi Charlie
Good video, and yes what the "boys" were doing was dangerous. But at the sametime that was a period when kids would go outside and play for the day and their parents would not worry about it. But today my grandchildren have supervision 24 - 7 and in a way it is kind of a shame. Back to the video the difference in speed on the road has certainly changed. Cheers Phil

Only problem when someone posts a video like this
Hi Charlie
The only problem when someone posts a video like this is I get side tracked, into watching more videos from the "up next" side panel on Youtube. I've been sitting here for three hours watching Australian videos from the 50s 60s and 70s. But please don't hesitate to distract me anytime, much better than what was on the TV morning news, besides the roads leading out from the house are under water from last night's heavy rain. Left the house at 0530 to go out to exercise class and the road was under water for 100 yards, as it was dark and no way telling if it was 6 inches or 2 feet deep turning around was the wise course of action Cheers Phil
