Default Ran

I think the RAN had a few series 1 80" models , these were used on the aircraft carriers Melbourne and Sydney ? Seem to recall somebody found the RAN ones listed in the Grenville motors ( NSW distributors ) sales records. Off topic but the British army used the 1949-50 series 1 in the Korean war. Nice book ! Wonder why the RAAF opted for the Willys CJ3B models in the late 50's as well as Dodge Power Wagons , would have made more sense to use the Series 2 Land Rovers same as the army.

Default Aust Availability

Thanks Robin and Mike.

I've had a few inquiries about availability in Australia.

The publisher tells me that Ronnel's Hobbies have ordered copies.
