Miner's Lamp
I'm looking for a particular model of miner's head lamp made by Kohler and known as a 'Wheat' lamp. They still make a modern version but I am looking for one from the 1940's/1950's as part of the Fox interior kit. You can get modern lamps or find the really old brass kerosene ones but nobody seems to have saved any from this era.
If you had one that would be great, but I'd also be interested in any leads, places to advertise, stores or internet forums that deal with old mining gear. (Please don't say e-bay. There were two in recent months after not seeing them before. Despite winning both, both vendors never made good on the sales.) |

Bruce,
You might try cruising the spelunker sites. The cave explorers use a lot of miner's lights & someone might have one. Jack |

Bruce, I will ask around. I live near mining country and have two brothers in law who are hard rock miners...
