Default 1939 Chevrolet WA truck bonnet/hood catch

This should be quite quick.
I'm trying to help out the Imperial War Museum in London with some information. They want to photograph the engine compartment of their LRDG 1939 Chevrolet WA truck, but are unsure of where the hood/bonnet release handle is. They obviously don't want to cause any damage to the truck. Any information/advice on the best way to do it after 80 years will be greatly appreciated!

Default Hood latch

The civilian trucks had a handle on the hood side panel. I thought the LRDG truck would be the same.

Default That truck has the side hood latches

Hi.

Just checked my photos of that truck in the Imperial War Museum and it indeed has the side hood latches.

Cheers Phil

Thank you Gentlemen, I assumed that was the case, but bearing in mind the historical importance and rarity of the vehicle, I just wanted to make very sure of my information to prevent any unnecessary damage to the exhibit.
