25 pounder gun restoring
Restoration of a 25 Pounder Gun in Pontocorvo Italy.
3 members of 3rd Montreal Field Battery of Artillery will be restoring the gun. The tires will be replace and the paint will redone using International Paint epoxy. The concrete platform will be also redone. We will receive help from one of our member's son living in Germany. This will be happening from the 12 to 18 April this year. If someone is in the area please come an see us we could use some help and advise. This is the 2nd time we do this last time we did the two gun at Juno in Normandy. Gilles
