Default Info about Canadian pin.

Which Canadian soldiers carried this pin during WWII in Holland?

If the colour rendering is red/black/red, then it had something to do with First Canadian Army.

Sweetheart pin, perhaps.

Default pin

I like John's identification, but wonder why a Canadian would need to identify himself as an English speaker. Wouldn't it make more sense for a Dutch person to have this little pin as a way of identifying themselves as an English speaker. It would save a whole lot of embarrassment and confusion.

I recall reading somewhere a number of Dutch Military personnel, and perhaps a few civilians were attached to various Canadian Military units as translaters.

Maybe some photos survive somewhere of these individuals wearing these pins.
