colling's foundation, "battle for the air field"
colling's foundation "battle for the airfield" Stow MA. october 10-11 2015 the foundation hosts this battle every year for about 6 years. includes armor and planes and lots of reenactors. this is the same colling's foundation that bought the littlefield collection. collings is in the process of building a new musuem to hold all the new tanks. once the tanks start to show up i will start a new thread to show what he has in the collection. i've been very lucky to get in with this group in past years i have been the drive for some of the collection, replica "panther" built on a t54 chassie, m-3 halftrack m-5 stuart and this year 38-t "hetzer". i will post some pictures of this event soon. but for now i'll post some old ones.

i've got a few more. we worked on the m-7 priest, worked the clutch linkage and painted the markings. got a video of it runing and driving on my FB page. the other is a vickers tank. quite interesting. i know i saw someone building a replica of this tank here on MLU. this tank runs and drives also. i'll try to get a video of this moving about. the event is this weekend so i'll have plenty to post. of course this takes time out from working on my ford.

This Vickers Light Tank MkVIa is one of the 10 that were supplied to the Australian army for training in the late 1930's. I had the good fortune to be involved in a little bit of its restoration when it was in the UK.
