Default Frozen Track in the UK

Ok anyone out there got a couple of links of frozen track which they may want to donate to an experiment ?

a chap i know at a local university was talking to me and i mentioned carriers, and rusted track, it would appear that he has a machine / bath which is filled with rust busting chemicals and it fires ultrasonic waves into the metal thus breaking off rust and freeing up items, he is confident that it will work, and would save breaking lugs off track links.

he had another idea which may be able to save tracks with elongated or worn pin holes which he would like to try, something about sleeving etc etc i didnt quite grasp it but it was along the lines of the sleeve would wear and could be replaced prolonging the llife of the cast on the links.

so anyone out there willing to donate to the cause ? i would pay for a courier to collect.
