Default tyres

I run 900.16s on mine depending on rims as the amount you trim off as the 3 piece gun rim has a slight taper against the blitz straight 2 piece. When the tyre is not registerable for the truck it goes on the gun . My old 1944 chevron are for show only

Thanks Bob.

Someone tried to tell me 20.00's a while back.

We do happen to have a riveted trail with 20.00's and suspect they might be original. The trail looks just like a 25pdr trail (as far as I can tell) and came with wooden round seats - is that any kind of clue? Did another caliber howitzer use the same trail? as the 25pdr?

Regards

Alex

Here is a pic of a 25pdr at the Kingsville museum here in Southern Ontario

Was there yesterday and the tires are 900x16. With 3 piece split rim.

Default 20s

I,d like to see a pic of the 20,s, they would run very close to the turntable if fitted. the blitz rim and 25pr rim have a different offset BUT the bolt holes line up so if no 16s available bolt on whatever to get it home.
