Default Royal Canadian Dragoons (WWII)

Who can answer the following question.
I try to trace the activities of the RCD during April 1945 in The Netherlands.
To get a good impression about their organisation, I am looking for an organisation diagram of this regiment/squadron. This means a diagram showing the vehicles (armoured and softskin) they were using.
Please feel free to contact me if you do have any information and/or suggestions.

Thank you in advance.

With kind regards

Have you tried getting in touch with the RCD Archives in Petawawa, Ont?

You can contact them on this site:

Hi Wim

Frank has given you our Regiment's link so you could indeed contact the Archivist. I do not believe that there is an Order of Battle (ORBAT) diagram available on any public venue.

I also recommend that you purchase the Regimental History 1883-1983, the 1939-45 History or the Pictorial History (or all!!) from the kitshop.
http://www.rcdkitshop.com/index.php?...emart&Itemid=1

The centennial history is a limited re-print at a good price and the originals are very difficult to find. This will give you the ability to read Chapter XVII and see where they were and when. There is a map but no ORBAT. Short of re-typing the whole chapter, I can look up any specific dates or locations you have an interest in from my (original) copy.
