Default Adverts, Courtesy and Respect

Fellow MLU subscribers.
Whenever I post an advertisement in the For Sale or Wanted section, I sure do my damnedest to reply to anyone who takes the time to send me an email, a PM or other query. Sure, we all lead busy lives, there are always the possibilities of missing something, computer glitches or even being tardy. I would appreciate and understand another member becoming annoyed with me if I choose to ignore them, in essence a case of disrespect and rudeness...
So, why is it acceptable then for someone else to do this to me?
I am not the only one in this particular situation today.
I most recently replied to an advert several times, as did another person. We were both ignored. Then comes the, "all items sold" in the post.
And before anyone jumps to the defence by asking if I tried to request an explanation, I will offer that no, I did not. Why would I if I was ignored previously? Perhaps Hanno should remind us of the Rules as well as usual etiquette on MLU Forum...
WTF???

Just to add to this, I believe this avenue of sale should require a set price.
There are other venues for auctions.

I think this thread has been a long time in coming.
I absolutely agree with sentiments thus far!
