Default Wanted Restored Ferret

I don't mind a bit of work but I would like to buy a restored Ferret M2 or M1/2 that looks great cosmetically both inside and out....as well as been mechanically restored. A comm system and lots of extra equipment...ie tools etc. Perferrably in Canada but not required.

A good running nice looking well equipted vehicle.

Maybe I am dreaming...but I am serious.

Thanks

Al

Alan, do a search here. Robin Craig has a Mk1 I believe which has come available and Dan Sicotte has a Mk2/3 for sale. Both are relatively close geographically.

I believe Peter Wilke up in Kenogmi On has a pair available.

Unless you have your heart set on an ex-Cdn one, you may find it cheaper to import one from the UK.

Dan Sicotte's Mk 2/3 is now sold into the US

The two in Temagami, one of which is Canadian with a turret dropped on top the other is Brit 2/3.

Mine is a genuine Canadian MK 1

EMAIL me for more info

Thanks to all for the nice words

Your not dreaming, for the right money I can make my Mk 1 the nicest and most mechanicallly reliable and most blinged out vehicle, but money is required.

or failing that I can source and import (properly) one from the UK, cash deposit required etc etc.

Thanks for all the input guys.

I have been speaking with Peter Wilke and he is saying he's only selling the all Green one, the Brit. He also has sent me some more external pics and some internal pics. Both need cosmetic work and I think it is just has the internal basics. I believe the two tone one was 18,500(not selling now) and the green one was 16,500.

Don S. told me his went two weeks ago.

I am working with Robin who is bringing me up to speed on what's out there and how to approach it.
Now if this were military weapons I would be telling you guys what to look for, who had what and what to pay....lol

Default Ferret manuals

Hi Alan,
Good luck with your quest. I've owned several Ferrets: Canadian and British so reproduced all of the important manuals; being a unique vehicle it is wise to at least have the User Handbook to learn to drive a Ferret properly. PM me for details; I'm in Milton.

I agree whole heartedly with Brian.

Vehicle stays parked unless you can recite drivers manual verbatim, or unless you have gobs of money to have someone fix it for you when its broken!
