Default M6 G-122 service parts catalogue

Hi All
I had a bit of a clean out of the book shelf. I will be posting about 20 manuals and a number of interesting books over the next couple of weeks.
The first is listed on ebay. # 300550792425.

I will happily post world wide at cost using registered air mail. Sorry about the poor listing on ebay, not quite got the hang of it.

Nigel

Default Ebay problem

Unfortunately, access to this particular item has been blocked due to legal restrictions in some countries. We are blocking your viewing in an effort to prevent restricted items from being displayed. Regrettably, in some cases, we may prevent users from accessing items that are not within the scope of said restrictions because of limitations of existing technology. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause, and we hope you may find other items of interest on eBay.

Nigel,
Thats the message Ebay is displaying when you try to view your post. I have never seen it before but it must be something to do with your listing.

Default Ebay message 2

It appears that your auction is blocked in some countries only.
As I have many languages enabled to increase my search range it is blocked by Ebay.
This is probably not a problem to your potential customers.
Sorry to alarm you.

Thanks Graeme

I wonder which country(s) would be upset by a manual for a 70 year old vehicle.

oh well, their loss. I will be upsetting them further over the next couple of weeks.

Default Blocked access

A couple of years ago there was a Universal carrier for sale on ebay in Canada or the US of A. It was blocked to Australia. I copied it and sent it to Kieth Webb.

Default postage overseas

In the set up on ebay, I have not been able to figure out how to state that I am happy to send overseas. I have looked all over. Does anyone have the answer?

Thanks

I think the easiest way is simply to state 'will post worldwide' in your description.

Default Nigel.....Just a thought

I can actually think of at least two countries (historically speaking), that would find the sight of these vehicles offensive.

Or maybe its not so much that they find this manual offensive.......more that if there are many others coming......that it may be the first wave of an offensive!

Sorry, couldn't help myself

I just asked my wife if she would mind me rampantly collecting MV manuals, and she is happy to let me, so long as she has permission to stab me to death in my sleep.

I sleep light since started buying Blitz truck bits & pieces.

Let me know if any Blitz books coming up for sale.

Default good idea

Thanks for the tip Ryan. I am also trying to figure out how to have the listing appear on Uk, Canada and USA ebays. It beats me. Maybe Ebaying is not for me.

I hear you Tony. Mind you, in Australia now, if you were seen reading a book on a bus about ww2 weapons I'm sure a couple of your follow passengers would think you a mass murderer.

I also have times when my wife looks at me as if wondering what planet I have come from. but, but, but......you just don't understand honey, I...no.... WE really need this for the project aaaannnddddd, its a bargain.

and

yes, I do have more reasons for you not to sleep at night

... probably easier, if you just place the link ;-)

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....m=300552241492

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....m=300552245625

BTW, your auctions are blocked in Switzerland too. To solve that problem, use the Internet Explorer and remove any language in the Options section. Think it has been discussed before.

Greetings
Chris

Default Thanks Chris and Richard

Thanks for doing what you did with the ebay connection Chris. I'll see if I can work it out myself. Not much of a computer person myself but happy to have a go.

Hi Richard. Hope you enjoyed your recent trip to Australia? Thanks for the info. At least I can manage to let the good British folk have a crack at the books etc

Hi Nigel,

Had a great time over there, thank you, and nice to meet you again. Let me know if you are coming to Beltring again, as I am always there.

Default posting more books

Firstly, Thanks Richard. Hoping to get back over your way next year. I'll let you know when I do.

I have a number of other Military books such as photo journals of WW1, WW2 and Vietnam, weapons and equipment books and general historical books relating to wars or certain campaigns. i am wondering if there is any interest in this. Please let me know. I need to cull the Library.

You could list them here with the price that your after. Pretty sure there would be more than a couple of people here interested in war books.

I would be interested in a manual / photos of a 'simple' field artillary piece.

Am planning to have a local engineer build a basic replica to be towed behind the Blitz, once finished. He can do the hard work and I will finish it off. That could be 3-4 years yet!

The more uncomplicated the manufacture, the less $$$$ it will cost me.

I have a neighbour that really annoys me, so I may place the piece to point at his house when i'm not using it

Default I'm Back

Sorry, slipped into a black hole, just got out.
Truth is, between work and sleep not much else has been happening.

Thanks Ryan, I'll do that. I'll take some photo's and post them here on MLU.

I have quite a number of non parts and maintenance books around so here looks good for a shop for those types of books. Amazing what you pick up over the years.

Will post soon
