Default Cmp Hinge Pins

CC World:

Has anyone identified a modern day replacement for the standard CMP door hinge?

Are the modern day replacements cheaper than NOS?

Has anyone fabbed up replacements?

Thanks,

Default Which Pattern CMP

Which Pattern CMP 11, 12, 13 and which doors.
The bushings for the Chevy Pattern 13 doors are avaliable. The actual door hindges I have not found a source for yet. But some of the HOT ROD fiberglass body parts companies have some that are pretty close.

Default PINS AND MORE PINS

Hi Phil,

Which Pattern CMP 11, 12, 13 and which doors? All cab models, front doors, and all van doors i.e HUP side and rear door hinges - which look like (I have not yet measured) the front door hinges for a cab 13.

Did Bob C manage to fill the bed of his truck with treasure?

Rob

Default Don't Know What He Hauled Back

Hi Rob

"Did Bob C manage to fill the bed of his truck with treasure?

Don't know what little gems he brought back, but greatly appreciate the Cover you sent down. Great addition to my HUP.

The Air Cleaner Bob brought was also greatly appreciated as the one on my Pattern 12 has holes in the bottom and the horse hair is gone.

Bob and I got to lead an armored column, in my HUP, out on a road cruse including a M113 in Canadian livery. Pictures to follow.

Rob C knows about this, but what I *really* need is a complete pair of centre/rear door hinges (Of course, what would be really nice is a complete '45 staff car rear door, to save having to straighten out the crimped one I have.)

If it's just pins you need, try this link for hinge pins - two lengths, with and without mirror bracket, for trucks 39-46, p/n DP112, DP135. Could they work?:
