Cab13 windshield glass
Hi guys.
I don't have any experience in getting glass cut for my Cab13 windshield. I stopped in at one place today and was given a quote of $200 plus tax for both front windows. But I had to source the cloth tape that goes in the channel. Any idea if that is a fair price? Or does anyone have any suggestions as to where I could take my frames in the Hamilton region? Any help is much appreciated. Jordan

The glass should run you between $40-80 a pane.
Any decent glass place should have the tape. My local place had it on the shelf in 2 different thicknesses. A roll of tape ran about $30. I could likely have got it off the internet cheaper. I like to use motor oil on the tape as it will swell the rubber to seal it better as well as seep into the window channel and provide some measure of rust protection for a while. |
