Hi there!

In those first 2 pics it almost looks like a very good scale model kit. Instead of being a very nice orriginal one. I am envious... I want it! Like to swap for an Aust no.9 CGT?

Phil...

I just heard the current owner bought this Ford FGT from someone in England, but originally this is one of the famous ex-Portuguese FATs!

Default New York?

Hi Rolf:

One question: why would a Canadian gun detachment care where New York was?

Dildo, Newfoundland;
Aldershot, Nova Scotia;
Utopia, New Brunswick;
Saint Louis de Ha! Ha!, Quebec;
Swaztika, Ontario;
Miami, Manitoba;
Head Smashed In, Saskatchewan;
Drumheller, Alberta;

and many other famous Canadian towns come to mind, but not New York!

Mike

Guess they picked up all sorts of thing back then too.

BTW: Good to see those FAT's here. Will post some photos from Beltring later on of FAt's

Here are some shots of the Belgian FAT at the Wings and Wheels show in Ursel, Belgium.

This FAT is on 1200-20 tyres.

Phil, seems you were right is some respects . . . I heard last week this FGT was actually a chassis/cab, to which the owner added a remanufactured rear body, scaled up from a model kit!
