Default carrier starting handles

Hi

Does anyone have any good pictures of the starting handles used on carriers?

Are them common on all types of carrier?

Does anyone have one they want to sell or swap?

Thanks

Ben

I sold one to a member from Alberta last year, but I might still have pictures somewhere.

To be technically correct, ours should be a one piece unit. The Canadian ones have a splined, removable handle, which is reversed to store on the carrier.

Default Canadian hand crank

Splined shaft to fit the handle. A securing split pin is retained by chain and ring.

Default Crank Handle

Close ups of the handle only. One of the few tools that had a part number stamped on it.
Cheers, Harris

Yes, I guess you can. I think i've seen one years ago, but dont recall where.
I can give some general dimensions, later.

Thank you all for the pictures, I hadn't realised the different types.

Looking forward to having a look at Shaun's, should give me a better idea seeing one in the flesh!
