Default 4" Smoke Dischargers

Hi to all,

A friend who is a class 5 arms dealer made 10 smoke dischargers using one of mine as a sample. The receivers are all BSA marked and 9 are dated 1939, 1 is 1937 dated. The smoke dischargers are for sale in the UK only as he does not export. Price each is GBP 580.00 including the deact certificate.

Presumably the tubes are either pinned or have a ring welded in?

In theroy if the tubes and actions were presented to the proof house together the tubes are also permanently attached to the barrel?

i'd like to get a smoke discharger for the carrier but I can't bring myself to part with that kind of money, might have to make something myself !
