Default Carrier Buckles

Maurice, Canadian Mk.1* carriers originally used many rubber straps, but later (1942-1943) began using more canvas webbing ones. Most of the straps for the tools on the rear were 3/4" wide and had simple buckles like the ones on '37 pattern web gear. The ones that held the tarp and jack were
1-1/4" and had quick release buckles like the ones here. Also, most of the straps I've seen have painted steel (khaki or light stone) ends rather than brass as per the last picture.

Default buckels

Thanks , aah I have got those quik release ones , but yes the parts list mentiones rubber straps , mine is a 1942 build one . on another wreck that I have , there are the very rusty remains of the brackets for shovel , and helve , they are u Shaped with one one side a slot , and the other side is gone to dust , would there just be a bit were the strap would have been fasrtenned on with two screws ?
