Ran across this photo last week and didn't get a chance to post it until now. Not even certain where it was taken and am a bit surprised the tow vehicle was even capable of doing this.

It is an Armoured Snowmobile Mk I towing a Q.F. 6-Pdr on skis during Exercise Eskimo, which was held in the Spring of 1945.

I recognized the F&D product, but what threw me with the gun was the look of the trails, which looked as if it was a single tubular item, which made no sense at all. David |
