Default Vintage Police uniform

HI guys

Ok this is way off target but I figured I would ask.

Im trying to find a source for a vintage style 1920-30's Police uniform that would be a new made reproduction.

So far I have only found poorly done Halloween costumes.

Im looking for somthing along these lines or what Sean Connery wore at the begining of The Untouchables movie. The scene with him on his beat at the bridge.

Any help is much appreciated

Default Police Uniforms.

Just an idea.

Have you tried asking a retired Police Officer? It may be worth a shot!

Paul.

Default Uniforms

Try your local amateur theatre props department.

Hi Jordan,

I don't think I can help you but to maybe do a littl googling, but ....

Question is: Are you looking for something to own permanantly, or just looking for the temporary use of a uniform? The answer could narrow your search.

Another possibility if you can't find one ready made, perhaps someone could make one if they had a pattern or could look at a uniform and make one up for you? Just brainstorming here

Thanks for the help.

I have found a few different ones but they were rather cheap. $40-60 does not buy you something of quality.

I was thinking I could probably sew one up myself also if I could find a patern.

However Im not too worried as this was jsut for a 1 day thing that might not even happen in 6 months time.

I will try the suggestions and see what I can find.

Jordan

I like the idea of checking with the local theatre props people. If they have nothing maybe they might have a good lead or idea.

Good luck Jordan
