Pickering Military Show

Spent a couple of pleasant hours at the show this afternoon, seemed to be well attended. Stewart Loy is there with his Vickers mounted carrier. Thought I had a good picture of he and it but the camera screwed up, or maybe it was the idiot behind the camera. The Limber Gunners are there with their tractor, limber and 25 pdr. Someone has a nice Chev staff car there, also a Sigs van, a couple of Jeeps and a Ferret. Plus lots of other nice stuff.
The show is on again on Sunday the 3rd of Oct at the Pickering Market and Trade Centre, corner of Squires Beach Road and Bayly Street, just south of the 401 and east of Brock Road, 9:00 am to 3:00pm.

It was nice to meet you at the Show. I am sorry that I broke your camera - I knew that I was funny looking, but I just didn't think it had gone that far!

It seemed like a good show, with talk of an even bigger one next season. Any reason to get out and meet the folks you only read about on the forum is a good reason.
