Somebody on the G503 forum wrote, the outfit is a US Navy uniform. 1940/41 Dodge Boans was a iconic department store in Perth , they sold just about anything.

Plymouth 12 cwt Van. I bought one of these in 1981, it was still registered ( since 1956) and I drove it home battling the busy traffic. The brakes were very good, the engine tired, it tended to overheat. The seller used it since 1956 for family holidays to Mildura and driving to work at CIG Preston. It was generally worn out and needed a lot of work. Ford
Further investigation reveals what could be a 41 Ford , the long marker lights on the top of front guards are unique to this year. Looks like the RAAF used these Fords. Or could it be a visiting army vehicle ? The number is partly visible ?15?25
