Default dashboard wiring mk2 carrier

Hi again fellas thank again for all the help, I have another question. I have just purchased a switch from Brian Asbury, the one I received is not like the one in most diagrams. I am wondering if anyone else had this problem and what they did to overcome this problem.

Larry, can you be more specific about what problem you believe you have? What switch did you acquire from Brian? How about a picture? I imagine you are referring to a switchboard in the dash panel, vs a toggle switch or the entire dash panel?

There are part numbers burned into the back of the switchboard. The switchboard most commonly associated with the C31UCW NO-2 MK-II* carrier will have the part number C01UC-106000-D. There are multiple references and images in at least two the two applicable manuals, FUC-03 and UC-OM1.

Thanks Michael the switch board that I bought from Brian is CO1UC 106000-C2. The problem that I was having was the light switch only worked side and tail there is no headlight terminal. I just hooked up the side and tail on same terminal and the head light on the other terminal. I also had a tough time realizing that the switch picks up power from two places and they use the second for ignition on off and had to use a different terminal then what was on the diagram. I have it all wired up now and all works thanks to Gord for sending me the diagram
Thanks everyone
Larry

Of course the comment was made with a smile: couldn't pass up the opportunity. I should start using the various smilies.
