Default Chrysler air breather....

....... 'cause it was toooo cold to play outside last Sunday I rummaged for treasures in the barn.

Came up with at least 4 NOS Chrysler air breather in excellent conditions....parts number #919802.......

I have taken some pictures which will follow...... I would appreciate if someone can identify which Dodge truck model they fit..... we are talking WW II period..... from what I have seen in my picture library early Dodge VC or WC pre-waterproofing

Yes they are for sale.... for MLU first then I will move them to the Powerwagon forum.

First the box..... I have obviously skipped the heavy cosmoline packing..... which by the way is really good fire starting material....

Default Will discuss....

..... lots of us in Ottawa would love to roast in the sun right now.

Last night early morning was -26C windchill of -42C.....

All side roads covered with deadly black ice...... my flag actually ripped off the lanyard in the stiff 70km breeze.......

It's the coldest it been and hopefully the last for this Winter....forecast is rain and 7 above for Sat. Sun....

When are you coming back??? and waht about the 10:50 tires??

See you soon

Bob

Default Brrrr!

Hi Boobetundai (many names here in West Africa end with ...tundai)

I'll be home on Sun 8 Apr and hope to make it to the Rotting at Gracies.

I'm still game for the tyres but only get on about twice a week. Any news from Derek (Sapper) on when they'll be available?

My best to the Hammond Barn Rats!

Cheers! Meltin' Mike

Haven't had our entertainment chairman in on the planning of the thrash at Gracies, but I will be there for sure..Are we going to do the slide show thing again..??
If so I will go early and throw any riff raff out of "Our" spot..
Uncle Bill will be with me for back up ..
One "Glare " from the RSM would put the fear of God into any bar rat that would dare to try to usurp our area,so my job will be a piece of cake..
Maybe we should do a recce of Morrisburg and find the cowardly little rat that mugged our Afghanistan vet and bring him to the event and show him what a "Justice Circle" is....

Default Slide Show

Hi Bob/Alex et al:

I replied on the tyre thread (pun intended!) right after sending my last on this one... duhh!

I'll happily do a slide show at Gracies. I'll surprise y'all with the subject.

I think we need to track down the Coward of Morrisburg and his scumbag friends, enroll them, put them through basic hell and then send them to Afghanistan as supplementary armour strapped to the outside of our LAVs... should absorb a bit of IED blast but will make for a bit of a pressure washing afterwards!
