Default Aust War Memorial - Big Boys Toys Open Day

Folks

How many people are aware of this annual event at hte Australian War Memorial, Canberra?

I did it with a army truck club many years ago.
It is always worth a look.
When I was last there a V2 rocket and a Japanese mini sub where side by side and could be with permission and supervision inspected closely and just a whole host of other really rare stuff.
Various aircraft were in the middle of cosmetic restoration.
Not many places and in the world where you can see so many rare bits of totally different military hardware.
