Ford GP for KNIL
Indeed Ford GP jeeps were delivered to the Netherlands East Indies. The Japanese Army used captured GPs, some of which were recaptured by Dutch troops returning in 1945.
A number was diverted to the West Indies after the fall of the East Indies. I don't know the exact numbers, various sources state numbers ranging from dozens up to 700. Read more here: https://web.archive.org/web/20170118...com/jeeps.html http://www.alfredstaarman.nl/wp-cont...KL-Arma-32.pdf The photo shows a number of GPs in use with the Dutch Marines in the NEI
