That's Sjoerd van de Wal's newly launched website. I suggested to him that you may be able to provide content. Do you still have the material you put on your geocities website?

hi Hanno

Sjoerd is welcome to use anything from my old geocities pages . The Morris Commercial club web site manager has also used various bits n pieces from my old site .

I think Sjoerd is mainly interested in the C8 4x4 GS . Somebody did find the contract cards for these trucks , the GS and wireless , I recall seeing the cards on a web page. A higher proportion of the GS vehicles seemed to have survived, probably because they lasted in service til the 1950's

Hi Mike,

I gladly take use of the information you have collected on your page.
My aim is to collect and concentrate all information that is available and what I can find.

Because I own a C8 GS my main interest is offcourse the C8 GS, however I would like to include also the Quads and even the Portee because they were all build on the same platform and are all directly connected.
And I really like to looks of the MK1

Do you (or anyone else) know where I can find these contract cards?
I'm very interested in those :-)

Thank you again,

Sjoerd

Hi Mike and I am just back from 6 weeks in Alberta, just a few questions for the upcoming website regarding the new web pages and the new Morris website. Why a new site when mikes is pretty near the mark, is there any more info on C8 GS vehicles coming into Australia, technical questions are ongoing and can go on for a while as we all know so will this be a problem.

The problem is I cannot edit the old site , it is out of my hands so to speak . The site is stuck in cyberspace

The new site setup by Sjoerd will have the latest up to date information

I checked out the new web site and it is in the early stages but the one thing that it needs is a contact reference? Where/who do you go to add "my vehicle". Wish Sjoerd all the best with it.

Hello all,

Today a did a new update on my site.
In time it will grow more and more, if someone has something that he or she would like to add or has suggestions than this is more than welcome.

Also i am still looking for owners so the register can grow.

Thanks,

Kind regards,

Sjoerd van de Wal

I like your old site Mike and it's a pity some of the pictures didn't survive, any chance they can be brought back from the dead and the contract cards are they still around?
