Default clearing sale treasure

A country clearing sale reviled a CMP treasure last week. My brother Stuart spotted this Chev radiator over flow in a pile of scrap at a local farm sale an offer of $2 to the scrappy who bought the pile was made, now I have a very original tank for my C15a.
Out of interest their was not one other piece of CMP related junk at the sale which make me wonder how it came to be their.

maybe the scappy got the rest privately some time in the past or hopefully someone saved the truck before the sale and missed that bit.

Hello Euan,

I wondered where the treasure would go on the truck and found out my answer while I was looking through CMP photos. I am posting this up just in case newish members like me where asking themselves the same question.

Kind Regards
Lionel

Default Overflow tank

In later Chev production, it mounts on the left hand footwell inside the shell section.
