Wink Help on Bedford MW details

I have been asked to start work on a master of the Bedford MW 15cwt.

If anyone can help, I am after the chassis details, preferably a lubrication diagram that shows the plan of the chassis.

Also some engine details, photo's of the engine in or out of vehicle.

I have some details, but anything you'd be kind enough to share would be of great help.

Body details I have, as I am sure it was the standard GS body fitted to other makes of 15cwt trucks.

Note, I have a new email address george.dfs1@virginmedia.com.

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

Default Bedford MW

Hi,
Further to my earlier request about Bedford MW series, I note from the references I have so far, that earlier vehicles have a cut out on the bonnet side panels, later models have "slots", also, on both late and early patterns, the mesh grill was fitted on the outside as an oblong panel, and sometimes inside the front panel.
Is there any reason, or details of these various changes ?????

Thanks.

George.

George,

Sorry I haven't replied to your email from a few weeks ago, yet. I will do so asap.

I have a lube diagram for the MW for you. I also have the manual for the Bedford OX, which should give you some info on engine, suspension, dash etc.

Alex

Early models also had a round "Bedford" badge instead of a rectangular one, no check straps for the back axle, a different dashboard, canvas doors, aeroscreens and different airfilter assembly. Also, there seems to be two different rear bodies, those with the folding sides and those that don't fold. If you want to know more about how to pull things apart and fix them etc, please don't hesitate to send me an email through this forum, as I have just got a friends MW back on the road and its parked up my drive for the next little while.

Default Bedford MW

Sounds great, and thanks.

Any build-up, restoration pics ??? Preferably the before ones, as there is more info usually.

Some internal cab shots, especially the door latch, etc.

Any and all help much appreciated.

George.
