I have to click on Netscape 8's retry button anywhere from two to fifty times before it'll ffind the page. Once I make the connection everything seems to work OK though.

Down load Mozilla..
It is an operating system much like windows but without the glitches..
You'll be glad to get rid of Netscape..
That is your problem..
Even with dialup on my sisterin laws computer it is fast..
Try Mozilla..

No more of this.,...

FIREFOX, to be precise. Works like a charm and you can have multiple tabs open on the same window frame - makes jumping back & forth a breeze. I use it both here at home as well as at work.

Default Slow connection times

Geoff, read the reply to post through e-mail where it opened quite quickly.

Closed e-mail reply and opened up MLU through bookmarks which uses .org.

Loading MLU, opening Tac HQ Forum, and opening relevant thread took less than 5 seconds each.

Will check post time for this message.

Paul.

Not so slow this morning (10.55).

.org loaded and moved between Forums within 5 to 10 seconds.
