Default Good Evening

GOOD EVENING GENTLEMEN AND LADIES

I would like to introduce myself to you as a owner of a Mk 2 Bren Gun Carrier

My name is Llewellyn Sidney and i am the unit commander of The South Wales Borderers WW2 Re-enactment Group who recently bought myself a Mk 2 Bren Gun Carrier

I am looking to restore her to a battling condition she is now running but needs some general work on her and some dressing

The reason why i am introducing myself is i have many questions and need lots of advise.
Its ok looking in books and at photos but its best to ask advise from people who own the iteam.

If you go to the the SWB website you can see some photos of the carrier in the back ground

or just go to the following link

I will get some better pictures soon.

My first question is does anyone have photos of and the measurements of a Firing Rest Adaptor for the Bren Gun

More questions to follow

Cheers
Llewellyn

Default Welcome

Welcome to MLU Llewellyn. I'm sure you'll find lots of answers and info from our great MLU-ers. I moved this thread from the forum help section to this carrier section for you

Also, I didn't spot the link you mentioned. Perhaps if you're having trouble posting a link perhaps Keith or another member can help you. (I'm not available to quickly respond to help requests these days, sorry, but others are )

Enjoy the forum and picking all the MLU knowledge brains in here
