Engine top cover LP2

Hi, I've been doing some repair work to the top grill part of the engine cover, have made a new clamp part for the Bren tripod but was wondering if there is a spring that goes in there somewhere and if so what does it look like. Would love a photo as all the ones I have of that area are not detailed enough. Cheers, Lew.
