Amazing that something that weighs about half hundredweight and with limited range is replaced some 55 years later with something that is smaller than a fag packet and able to reach you in Australia in an instant. Ron

Your "smaller than a fag packet" has a range of a few hundred yards - it's the hidden infrastructure that lets you talk to Australia with it.
