Default Warriors Day Parade

In London, Saturday, September 8. Warriors Day Parade from Queens and Adelaide to the Western Fair Grandstand. Form up is 1000hrs in the parking lot behind Banting House. Vehicles should be carrying veterans, and will be leading the parade this year. More to follow.

Hi Perry, Do you have any idea how many vehicles will be showing up? Or should I send out an email this weekend giving everyone on my mailing list a heads up about the parade and see who replies?
It was a great weekend at the Muster! Looking forward to next year's!

Perry,

The weather channel says dry and cooler = perfect parade weather for the Warriors Day parade!

I will be there early.

Hello Mary-Lou,

I do not have a number for participants, so if you want to do a mass email, that would be great. They would like to have everyone at the assembly area (parking lot immediately east of Banting House, corner of Adelaide and Queens) formed up and ready to go by 10:30 Saturday morning. Towing vehicles can be taken down to the fair grounds and parked on the east side of the race track, entrance off Florence St., after dropping of the parade vehicle, so you won't have to drive them back to the assembly area after the parade. Parade steps off at 11:20, should conclude at 11:50 in front of the grandstand for a short ceremony. Everyone should be on their way home by 12:45.

Stewart,
Good to hear, see you there Saturday morning.

Perry

London's parade was a dry and sunny outing (but it did sprinkle a bit on the way to the starting point) with the rare spectacle of a '2 mule parade' the result.

Many vehicles and even some veterans for the annual tribute to warriors!

My wife even said the Mayor waved to her!
