Default Carrier L.H.S. exhaust elbow

Does anyone have a good left hand side exhaust elbow for sale?
(the one bolted in the floor)
I need to buy one if I can.

If you get desperate Lynn, I can remove mine from my hull and offer it as a pattern for casting. I would obviously need it back afterwards

Richard, that is an awesome offer, and I am tickled by your generosity.
However, I don't need to do that to you. I have a couple. One is rotted away to a very thin state with a hole in it. the other is quite thick, but also has a bit on the inside that is about to develop a hole in it about 15mm in diameter.
I can weld it (not sure what with yet??) but was hoping someone was sitting on a surplus of them (maybe trade some thing?)

Thank you again my friend. If I can do something for you, just let me know!

Lynn, I happen to have one that is not an aust one. This one has 3 fins cast into it. Can you put a photo of yours as my camera is playing silly buggers and won't let me down load.
Colin.

Colin is it the same as an LP2 as far as in, out, and mounting goes?

Well folks, I have to say a big thank you to Colin for his generosity. This just turned up in the mail with no other prompting out side of what you can read in this thread.
I have no clue as to its original application. I wondered if it may have been made for the tractors built from carriers.
Any how it is brand new and perfect for the job. Thank you again Colin.

Looks quite interesting. How does the exhaust pipe (that goes to the rear) stay in this casting, Lynn? The ones I've got for my LP have holes for a clamping bolt.

Hi Alex, I'm not sure because the pipe will go right in and half block the inlet.
maybe the two clamp plates for the pipe guards under the floor are enough to locate the pipe. I have thought about tacking an extra piece of tube to the outside of the pipe that will butt up to the casting, or a stop either side of one of the clamp plates.
