Default WS No.19 serial number query

Gents of the Wireless Expertise fraternity...

.... if WS No.19 sets have the following serial numbers:
65343
66769
67364
76342
82592
83570
97769

.... is there any way of telling which Mark of set these are (Mark 2 or Mark 3)? They are probably all sets of English origin, given the references that I have.

Thoughts, please, on this conundrum...

Thanks

Mike

Default numbers

Hi

Good luck sorting that out

I think Pye were the major manufacturer of 19 sets in the UK.... going by their website, they made over 100,000 .

A good source of info is the No.19 set yahoo group . I suggest you join the group and ask them about it.

Thanks Bruce and Mike .... I gather any set with a serial higher than 86534 is certain to be a Mk3. Just have to find out the lower limit for No.19 Mk3.....

Later edit: Mike, you provided the key, thank you! Looks like, from the list presented of serial numbers on that site, all the ones listed in my original post fall within the range of Mk3 serial numbers, which answers my question admirably.

Thanks

Mike
