Mother of god, Flakvierling 38 2cm quad Flak Gun . and what looks like a The 20-mm antiaircraft single gun, 2-cm Flak 38.

Thanks for the ID Anthony. I was pretty sure the multi-barrelled AA was the Flakvierling 38 but I had no idea what the other one was.
They are actually available from the salvage yard here in Manitoba. They have sat there so long the carriages have sunk into the earth. The owner is going to have them lifted out soon. PM me for contact info of the owner if someone is interested in them. They likely won't be cheap, but they won't break the bank either. |

Jees would that be safe to say some of the old Farly collection...looks like a flak gun carrage to me....

Might be part of his collection...hard to say. They were part of the collection in the Shilo museum. About 35 years back some officer declared that the remnants section of the museum's dustbowl be cleaned up, and at that time my friend had the scrap contract. Along with these two pieces were the 17 pounder remnants collected recently by Rob Fast, a 6 pdr carrriage, the back axle from a bofors, a mystery carriage (I suspect a mkIII 6 pdr carriage as the trails split in halves), and a 762mm honest John rocket launcher. There are a few other remnants as well.
