What a collection! Some of the armour ended up at Kubinka, and the stack of Iron Crosses is on display at the Central Armed Forces Museum in Moscow, but what about the rest? All the B vehs, and those aircraft - Condor, Butcher Bird, and some that only a handful were made ... fantastic, but I wonder about their ultimate fate.

According to the curator when I visited in 1992, the 'excess' German armour at Kubinka was scrapped - anything that didn't fit in the German pavilion. I suppose much of the rest of what is shown on the film went to a similar fate.

Mike
