Default CMPs at War & Peace

I'm considering attending the war & peace show to see CMPs and to buy parts for my cab 12 C8. Anyone know if CMP parts dealers will be there? A few years ago there was a dealer from The Netherlands that had some CMP parts.

Hi Dennis, we met at Beltring in 2000 (I think). Good to hear you are still into CMPs!
But before you book a ticket to the UK, I think I have to warn you that since 2001, the number of CMP vehicles participating at Beltring is dwindling rapidly.
If you need any parts for your C8, contact Dirk Leegwater. As dougiebarder pointed out, he will be at Beltring this year again, but you might want to check the possibilities of having parts shipped over to the USA.

HTH,
Hanno

Hallo Dennis,

Beltring 2004, several CMP & Commonwealth trucks (and guys) on the field plus lot's of CMP spares by the stall's. My "treasure" found was a nice Canadian box filled with spares ! Some more "Beltring 2004" pictures on my page: Past Events.

Nice find Dirk!

Of course it turned out to be heavy and you had to carry it all across from the far end of the field

What is in it?

I see our friend Barry was there with his T16?

Must have made your day, Rod!

Default T-16 at Beltring

Hanno,
Yes I had a great time at Beltring. Unfortunately I only saw the T-16 for a few minutes, as it was covered up with no one around. I did not get to meet Barry either. The show is sometimes too large. I was also at Ursel with Jaap Reitveld. Sorry I didn"t get to talk with you. I did manage to find a few T-16 spares at the shows. Were you at the Ursel show on Sunday? The lovely Firefly unfortunately backed up into one of the carriers. Luckily it only bent up a front fender. Fun show, but not enough vehicle parts for me. But I could have bought a lot of German helmets though! Rod Shaver

Rod,

I was there on Saturday with my little son. I'm sorry we did not get to meet, would have loved to chat! Another place, another time, eh?
