Looks to me as a 1945 APT Chevrolet , so I think they were out of the desert by that time .

Other pictures of it have been on MLU
Hi Anthony
The truck in your picture has been on MLU before with different pictures but the same truck. Now the question is under what tread. The MLU picture file name was 28584 if some one can figure out how to search for it that way. Cheers Phil

Nice Truck
Yes, we call it the Lemon Palace. It is owned by a chap called Stuart and comes to Beltring. He goes to amazing lengths to set up unique dioramas for it.

So the pictures show clearly that it is not a APT truck , so possibly end 44 beginning 45 then . APT were mostly manufactured in Aug 45
