A taste of "Home"

Hi

When I received this pic via email, it was claimed to be a Canuck in Afghanistan.

That has been proven, to my satisfaction, not to be the case.

Apparently though, this US Army soldier wanted some grass to remind him of home and therefore cultivated his own plot while deployed.

Iraq or Afghanistan or Fort Hood...............I dunno, but the pic and sentiment are nice.

I welcome anyone else who can add to this story. Enjoy.
