The 75mm gunner sits on a agricultural implement looking seat which is clamped to a crooked pole which itself is sticking out from the 75mm rotator, The radio operator in the Lee sits behind and to left of the driver on a small bench-like seat, the loader and possibly commander up in the basket have fold down round seats and I'm guessing the 75mm loader sits on the 75mm square ammo chest or maybe on the right sponson where the side door is - or just hangs on to anything for dear life.

Thanks Alex.
Hmm . What is it from then?

I'd like top know cos I think I've got one the same. I thought I got it from a place where I got some Grant bits years ago. It is light gauge steel and has the bifrucated rivets to indicate that it was upholstered quite well like the M3 mediums, but the back is relatively high and fairly upright. - Avro Anson..?

Default chapter ends

The adventures of my tanks are coming to an end for the time being.
My No.2 grant has been sold to a collector in WA while my No.1 tank is now for sale on ebay.
This is not the end of the story however.

Thanks to all for the support and help.

Default transport help needed

Hi guys, my M3 Lee has sold and needs a lift up to brisbane QLD. The new owner's son is having a little difficulty organising transport by himself as his father is in the army and has now been deployed to Afganistan. Has anyone got the details of some reliable transport between me ( west of geelong ) and brisbane?

Default Tank gone

Well, when I bought my first tank I had to unload it in the rain. And when I sold it I had to load it in the rain....and the dark. Kinda fitting really. I thought it would be quite scary but I managed to drive it onto the low loader and be less than an inch out from centred on the trailer. 2.5metre wide tank onto a 2.5 metre wide trailer.
Sad to see it go but now others have the chance to play with it as I did.
It's now on its way to Brisbane.

Default m3s no more

My second M3 moved off the property last monday and now should be in WA. Here's a couple of pics of it loading up to go. It will be missed. But on the plus side the house is painted.

Tough decisions Ryan.
Reminds me of the old saying:
"Second greatest feeling in the world is buying a tank, Greatest feeling in the world is being able to sell it....."
Rich.

Default murrayville

I read online that the paddock with M3 and Matilda tanks on the sa/Vic at Murrayville has been recently visited by scrappies and mostly cleaned up. Can anyone verify this?
A bloody shame if true.
I tried to buy an upper hull for my M3 there years ago.
