Default LAA tractor.

Found this interesting prospect for a model on a CD that I was sent. Does anyone have any more pics of it, or info. on units that would have used it please?

Thanks Hanno.
Looks as if a similar body was also used on the C30 chassis. I'll just keep hunting pics, but I only have one C30 model, and a couple of '60s, so I may change to this.

As far as I know, the LAAT was based on C30, F30, C60S and F60S chassis. So basically any 134" chassis will do.

Forum member Keith Orpin owns a C30 LAAT; pics of Brian Kitcher's F60S LAAT goes attached.

H.

Source of these pictures is http://www.mezzimilitari.it/, but as this site is temporarily inactive I'll post the pictures showing the LAAT details here.

Default C30 LAAT

Hi Dave & Hanno,
Hopefully below are the latest pictures of my 1942 C30 LAAT which has just been though a 4 1/2 year rebuild. She took to the road a couple of weeks ago with a C15A as backup (Thanks Pete). Drives very well and the engine is settling down nicely.Still a few odd jobs to be completed, but they can wait till the winter, (canvas still needs mesh windows in the back etc), in the meantime, she is booked into a few local shows this summer around our area (Oxfordshire, England),then I'll venture further afield!
Dave, this C30 was used by 6th Anti Aircraft Div in and around the Thames Estuary by the Royal Leicestershire Regt during 1942/43.
Hope you all enjoy the pictures
Keith

Hanno ,and Mark for the PM, you are gentlemen. As for my brain, I forgot the C30 and C60S both use 134" wheelbase chassis!
DOH!

Sorry Keith - no pics on the post!
