Default It followed me home......

.....Honey....can I keep it????

Last parts truck compliment of Don Bernie and his overzealous by-law officer...... formerly CC-2's main attraction.....

Charlie F. it still has your pintle spring pack which I will save for you......

Last time a Cab 12 ever did 120kmp on the 407....... after a while I had to slow down.... you see the front fenders had quite a few nuts.bolts missing on the leading edge and they started bending back....slowed the trcuk down by at least 4oKPM due to wind drag..... so I stopped and being frsh out of duct tape usaed some HD nylon tie-straps and stitiched them back on.......

NOw back up to 120kmp... I discovered the airfoil of the front fenders actually lifted the trailer... the faster I went the lighter the load.... at around 140kpm the trailer went up and lifted the rear wheels of the Furd.... so I switched to 4 wheel drive to keep it under control........

Pictures on the next 3 frames

Bet you guys in Aussie land never saw that before.....too bad my hands were full and g=couild not take pictures...

Default whats there looks good

Bob - Another good save, though stripped are the bits that are there as good as they look? The front fenders look good and the frame looks in reasonable condition.

Cheers

Default BOB'S USED CMP LOT

Bob,

I was kidding about having room for a Division's worth of CMPs at your place! It would seem that you are intent on filling the field...good on you!

Default Meant to ask you Rob....

....can you help me cut down some trees to amke more room... I sure could use the firewood......

Phil..... what is there is not bad at all.... first the frame is a C15 that has been lenghten.... strange usually the shorthen the C60.

The extension was done professionnally... very well done and clean... for me it has a very good floor plate... better than mine and it has the dash and buttons pattern. Complete front and rear axle.... you know my quest for good front axle parts for mine.

Nose sheet metal has some good salvageable parts.... master cylinder may already be spoken for for Rob.... good spring hangers useable springs..... odd frame bracket.... nothing will be wasted...... traded... exhanged ......loaned out or whatever.

Fenders look better than they look.... although I have seen worst bent up fenders before..... they have a few rust hole but the overall shape is there and can be patched up quite easily.

For the time being it may serve as a mobile stand for Rob's HUP body until he can re-instal on his frame.

Noticed how Don had installed regular 16 pickup trcuk tires on the CMP rims..... will probably do the same for yard mobility.

Bob
