Default Carrier transmissions?

Hey guys,

I have a quick question, can somebody tell me what transmission would have been fitted to Universal Carrier or T-16 behind the Ford Flathead?

Would it have been the basic Ford 4-speed, non-synchronized, low-first gear truck transmission?

Thank you.
